Miha Umek

Miha Umek developed strong interest in films already as a kid. His pursued his career and gained vast work experience at the Slovenian national television as a camera assistant and later as a cameraman. Made his directorial debut on almost budget-less cooperation with Slovenian independent filmmakers and airsoft players. He took on the directing role, after always dreaming of directing a film. Failsafe is it the first peace of the realization of his dreams. With his first work he got nominated on several film festivals in 2014. After first success, there sporadically followed next three. His list is now longer for movie titles: Last Call, Liza and Pod pritiskom. To be continued…
